The Administration Services Team is multi-skilled and provides a broad range of business support functions to Wellington, Taranaki-Manawatu and East Coast Regions.
Mō te tūnga | About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Administrator to join our Regional Administration team within Services for Children and Families team.
The key focus of this role is to ensure the administrative and other system processes that support the teams in their work are highly efficient, effective, and organised.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including recruitment, project co-ordination, family homes procurement, meeting coordination. You will be solutions focused and able to quickly solve problems while always striving for continuous improvements in the way we do things. The scope of the role will require you to have a "no job is too big or too small" approach to the way you operate.

Key requirements of the role include:
- Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective organisation, planning and time management skills
- Be able to multi-task on a range of activities with impeccable attention to detail
- Have proven experience of administrative processes, systems and technology with a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrate medium to advanced level of technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Work well as part of a team and be comfortable using your initiative
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Remuneration for this position starts between $56,516 - $59,354.00 dependant on experience.
