Allegro is a leading e-commerce technology platform in Poland, with over 13M active buyers and more than 250M offers from over 130k sellers. More than half of all purchases are made via mobile applications. Our goal is to provide buyers with a simple process that allows them to make convenient purchases from all the offers available, on increasingly smaller screens. We know that more categories of products will be purchased online and we are preparing to make them simple and convenient for our buyers (including those who are not yet on Allegro).
We are looking for an experienced technology leader to develop our Product Vision, Strategies and Plans, with the ability to execute these rigorously for maximum impact.
Your main responsibilities
- Identifying and answering the key needs of Allegro buyers
- Managing and establishing the business directions of our development and product team
- Defining a platform development roadmap to meet consumer needs and drive revenue
- Identifying and developing key capabilities in the customer-facing organisation to achieve our long-term goals
- Operationally managing your Unit (including managing a budget and making forecasts, business performance management, executing a recruitment plan)
- Building and executing a budget for the Unit
- Developing your people to build the future leaders of Allegro
- Aligning with other business units that cross the consumer path to support the strategic direction of Allegro.
- Achieving growth and maximizing the outcome for Allegro

- In-depth experience within eCommerce companies
- A commercially focused technology leader with a strong tech/biz mindset
- Drive and a willingness to take ownership for bold decisions
- An ability to think strategically
- Strong analytical skills, data and performance focus
- Strong operational efficiency, effectiveness, process thinking
- A senior manager able to lead and develop a large, fast-growing technology organization
- The ability to work in a large organization and effectively collaborate across departments
- The ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and partners
- Effective, highly communicative oral and written skills
- A strategic mentality and validated ability to develop credibility with senior leadership and C-suite executives
- Experience in consumer-facing products
- Excellent written and spoken English
