Procurement & Hotel Development Manager (w/m/d) - Franchise
The Foremost Hospitality Group currently operates eight hotels in Germany under the brands "Hampton by Hilton" and "Hilton Garden Inn". We are looking for a Procurement & Hotel Development Manager (w/m/d) who is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for our hotels. The Procurement & Hotel Development Manager'sresponsibilities also include the procurement and supervision of the installation of equipment for our Hampton by Hilton hotel currently under construction in Dresden. The Hotel Development Manager will work closely with our leadership team to ensure our purchasing processes are effective, efficient and contribute to a positive guest experience.
Work ExperienceYOUR DAILY BUSINESSPre-Opening / Dresden Project:
- Ordering FF&E; and coordinating and monitoring the installation of inventory (FF&E;) in accordance with the brand standards of our franchise partner Hilton Worldwide and DGNB specifications.
- Process and contract planning with suppliers as well as their auditing and monitoring
- Conclusion of individual or framework contracts with selected suppliers
- Budget planning, cost control, schedule monitoring and acceptances
General:
- Manage the overall procurement process for our hotels.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure we receive quality goods and services at competitive prices
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor vendors and delivery processes to ensure that regulatory requirements and our quality standards are consistently met and on-time delivery is ensured
- Maintain relationships with vendors to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our purchasing processes
- Prepare budgets for purchasing and monitor spend to ensure we meet our financial targets
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure our purchasing processes contribute to a positive guest experience
- Research and acquire new suppliers
- Ongoing monitoring and improvement of our supply processes
- You have gained your professional experience in the hospitality industry, in system gastronomy or in a comparable sector.
- At best, you have already gained experience in the field of purchasing and additionally in contract law and controlling.
- At least a good knowledge of German is required for concluding and negotiating contracts as well as for communicating with service providers and suppliers.
- Relevant software knowledge, IT affinity
- Independent action and entrepreneurial understanding
- Experience in leading project teams
- Structured and result-oriented way of working
- Enjoy independent, goal-oriented work with a "hands on" mentality
- Good communication skills and negotiation skills
- Coordination and assertiveness skills
