Solutum develops a novel technology for a biodegradable plastic based on synthetic polymers, that dissolves in water and biodegrades x1000 faster than conventional plastics.
The R&D team is assembled from 15 inspired engineers, looking for a change and to find a solution for plastic pollution.
Solutum is opening a position for a process engineer for its pilot lab in Tel Aviv, with an opportunity to grow and get promoted as the company grows. The process engineer is part of the engineering team, reporting to head of engineering, and responsible for:

- Lead outsourced production at sub-contractor’s facilities.
- Scaleup new formulas to a commercial production line.
- Define and overcome productivity limitations.
- Operating the production pilot lines.
- Pilot lines maintenance, preventative and breakdown.
- Modify and improve the lab capabilities based on the R&D requirements.
- Materials storage management.
- Provide professional feedback to the R&D.
- Experience with raw materials and industrial\semi-industrial environment – advantage.
- English level – medium or higher.
- Ability for time management and multi-tasking.
- Ability to work independently, collect data, write reports and indirect management.
- Self-motivated, and team player.
