Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) provides trauma-informed and highly specialized services for children and youth of Ontario who experience complex and long-standing combinations of mental health difficulties and/or developmental challenges where these difficulties significantly impact functioning in multiple areas such as home, school and community and appropriate community interventions have not produced the desired response. What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:- Provide guidance and advice to senior management on accountability, program changes and implementation of program delivery
- Develop briefings, options and recommendations and advice to senior management
- Develop and implement research strategies and data collection systems for information management and retrieval
- Monitor implementation and program changes through a continuous quality improvement approach
- Conduct analytical reviews of CPRI policies, programs and services and auditing of program data/information
- Interpret and accurately apply legislation in the creation and review of policies, develop monitoring and management plans, and prepare reports with information and analysis
- Analyze operational policies, procedures and information to identify discrepancies, evaluate potential risks and make recommendations to mitigate organizational liability
- Provide support to senior management to ensure operational activities are aligned with legislation, policy and procedures.
- Develop monitoring and management plans, prepare spreadsheets and reports with statistical information and analysis
- Analyze agency statistical information to identify discrepancies, evaluate potential risks and make recommendations
- Prepare program information requests and analytical and statistical reports that address specific program issues

How do I qualify?
Technical Knowledge
You have:- Knowledge of relevant program/ministry/government legislation, regulations, plans, priorities, strategic directions, and program and policy directives
- Knowledge of social and human services programs and privacy and family/health and mental health related legislation
- Demonstrated knowledge of program evaluation techniques, policy analysis, planning analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of communication protocols, decision making processes, accountability structure, programs and initiatives, and service delivery
- Demonstrated knowledge of database concepts, data base management software and tools, data modeling, database design, development and investigative and data mining methods and techniques
Research and Analytical Skills
You can:- Conduct analysis, assess research requirements, determine data sources and appropriate analytical techniques, and assess implications of findings
- Identify trends, gaps, or risks in complex data sets and current management plans and provide recommendations for process/program improvements

- Deliver training and effectively communicate information to program managers and staff
- Coordinate activities with project teams and/or community development activities/events
- Work across teams of specialists to provide consistent support and facilitate knowledge sharing.
